Over half of people who need counseling say it costs too much statistically speaking. Therapy typically costs $90-$300+ per session without insurance coverage, but more affordable options are available through community mental health clinics and nonprofit organizations if you are willing to look deeper.
About 92% of Americans have some form of health insurance coverage – 65% in the U.S. are covered by private health insurance, while 36% rely on public programs. Even so, many are still underinsured, meaning services aren't affordable even after filing a claim through insurance (US News Today, 2025).
On top of all that, a fraction of counselors in the field of psychology identify as biblically based counselors, which in our experience makes a huge difference in how you approach a client, and how therapy will ultimately impact their life.
Plain and simple, Weathered and Redeemed Ministries is about serving people by pointing them back to Jesus Christ. You are paying to help people get the help they need even if they are uninsured or cannot financially afford it. We do not want money to ever be the reason someone cannot receive the help and guidance that they need.
We have ministered to those struggling with their identity, their faith, marital problems, infidelity, divorce, sex abuse, physical abuse, PTSD, severe depression, suicide, deaths and various traumas. We have conversations with the young and the old. We have ministered to children, teens, adults, and the elderly. The fact is that we all need to be reminded that our identity is in Christ alone, and He is the Ultimate Healer and Mighty Counselor. We want to walk through these seasons alongside you.
